Finishes
We use a variety of non-toxic, durable finishes on our products.
- Tung oil: A traditional, plant-based finish that penetrates deeply into the wood. Tung oil enhances the natural grain with a warm, rich glow and leaves a water-resistant satin surface. Although slightly less durable than our UV-cured finish, tung oil is our most popular finish and can be easily renewed at home with a simple reapplication.
- UV-cured hardwax oil: A modern, high-performance finish that combines the natural look of oil with the durability of a cured coating. Exposed to UV light during application, it hardens instantly into a tough, protective layer. The result is a satin surface that highlights the wood’s natural feel while offering excellent resistance to scratches, stains, and everyday wear.
- Butcher block conditioner: A food-safe blend of mineral oil, beeswax, and carnauba wax that penetrates and rejuvenates wood, resists moisture, and leaves a natural satin finish. Used for our kitchen utensils and food-safe products, it can be easily renewed at home with a simple reapplication.
